About Us

Duane Fish started out his photography career in 1999 years ago as a freelance photojournalist for Elko Daily Free Press. It is through this same approach he takes to his still photography 8 years later. He believes people should be shown their natural way without adding anything extra.
Duane began his photography adventure with the Nikon FM-10, which he still considers a great workhorse for a beginning photographer. It helped him receive an honorable mention with a picture dubbed "The Waterfall" in a contest on advertising Elko, NV. A couple years later, he would buy Nikon N-65 which caused him to be published multiple times in different publications.
Recently he opened his horizons into the digital age by buying a Nikon D70 digital SLR. With this camera he has been able to provide people and publications with photos within minutes rather than having to wait for the developing of film.
Duane still believes that a photo needs to be worked for not taking multiple shots then hoping that one does turn out. That is why his business statement is "Taking one photo at a time".
Duane has taken photos with many other cameras like the Nikon Coolpix 885, Spartus Full Vue, and the Sony Cybershot. Even thought these cameras may not have the same qualities as his first cameras they provide the photos that he looks for where a bigger camera would be a hassle.
While he has come into the digital age Duane Fish still prefers the experience he has had with his Nikon FM-10 as it is still his favorite.
